Advent Retirement Communities

Take a look at a different kind of retirement community...
Our residents and their families value the distinctive blend of skill and compassion at the heart of Advent Christian Retirement Communities.

More than words in a policy statement, heart-felt senior care is our mission. It began in 1920 with housing and care for retired missionaries and, in time, services for all elders with residential and health care needs.

Today we provide a continuum of care, with facilities for independent living, assisted living and nursing care in Vernon, Vermont and Kittery, Maine. Alzheimer’s care and physical rehabilitation services round out our current (but continually growing!) capabilities.

We’re a not-for-profit organization managed according to Christian principles and values, and welcoming of all, without regard to background or belief.

We invite you to visit the websites of our two communities
Vernon Advent Christian Home and Meetinghouse Village.

You can also find us on facebook:  Vernon-Home  and you may be very interested in keeping up with the wonderful group that Brad Ellis has participated in called: Bike4Christ

Branches Pregnancy Center

Branches (formerly Care Net)  Pregnancy Center of Windham County is a Non-Profit organization.  Branches is here for our clients, the women that come to us with a need. Our goal is to meet that need and to meet the needs that they might not even recognize yet. We are here to support them and love them with the love of Jesus Christ.  And we need your help!!!  There are several ways you can us help us.

  • Pray for this mission and our clients
  • Volunteer your time, talents and/or resources
  • Support us financially
However the Lord leads you to help us, we appreciate it.
Thank you for taking the time to look into this ministry.
